Routine Care & Maintenance For Your Laminate Flooring

Sweeping, vacuuming, and dry mopping are activities that should be completed on a regular basis in order to keep your laminate flooring looking great. Generally, you’ll want to be sweeping almost every day to ensure that debris is not evident on your flooring, but this is also dependent on the foot traffic within your home. Should you decide to use a vacuum on your laminate flooring, you’ll want to obtain one without a beater bar as this can scratch your floor.  You may also opt for a manufacturer-approved cleaning solution on your laminate floors should the dry clean not be cutting it.

Placing doormats and encouraging guests to take off their shoes before entering your home is a quick and easy way to help keep your laminate looking pristine for years to come.

One of the many benefits of laminate flooring is that spills and messes do not usually leave a lasting impression.

Should you spill a liquid or create some type of mess on your laminate, simply wipe the substance away in a timely manner with a cloth or towel and go on with your day. If the spill persists then consult your manufacturer for an approved cleaning solution.
